This is an important reminder to all international students that any plan for overseas study, including but not limited to exchange programs, dual-degree programs, overseas research, or other forms of study abroad, must be proactively reported to the Office of Global Engagement (OGE) at least one month before departure by completing the Notification Form. All required approval procedures must be completed in accordance with the TMU Overseas Study Guidelines.
For scholarship recipients, please note that failure to comply with the above requirements may result in the revocation of the scholarship, and any remaining scholarship eligibility will not be retained or extended. We sincerely hope to assist you in avoiding any unnecessary impact on your studies or benefits.
In addition, students are kindly reminded to carefully check and maintain the validity of their National Health Insurance (NHI) and Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) before and during any overseas stay. Improper management of NHI or ARC status may affect your legal residency, insurance coverage, and related student rights in Taiwan.
We kindly ask all international students to give due attention to the above requirements and to ensure timely communication with OGE before making any overseas study arrangements.
Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please feel free to contact us at iss@tmu.edu.tw.
Thank you for your cooperation.
